Lois Lee

Lois Farmer Lee, 87, of Newport News, and a former resident of Colonial Heights, passed away Friday, August 24, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Oscar Enewell Farmer and Emma Hughes Farmer and the widow of William C. "Buddy" Lee and was preceded in death by a brother, and three sisters. Mrs. Lee was former member of Immanuel Baptist Church and currently a member of Temple Baptist Church in Newport News. Mrs. Lee and husband, William were former owners of the William C. Lee Insurance Agency in Colonial Heights. She is survived by two sons, Michael C. Lee of Ashburn, Virginia, Gregory S. Lee and wife, Beverly of Suffolk; grandchildren, John Alexander Lee, Gregory Scott Lee Jr., Ellen Rogers Lee, and Catherine Alexandra Lee. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 29, 2012 in Immanuel Baptist Church 620 Lafayette Ave., Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 with the Reverend Fred Adkins officiating. Interment will be 2:30 p.m., Wednesday in Signal Hill Memorial Park, 12360 Hanover Courthouse Road, Hanover, Virginia 23069. The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 28, 2012 from 7-8:30 p.m.in the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard.
