Loretta Wyatt

Loretta Harris Wyatt, 77, of Charlottesville, formerly of Colonial Heights, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2009. She was the daughter of the late John Norman Harris Sr. and Martha Jennings Harris, and the widow of Donald Glen Wyatt. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Alma Smelley Gunn, and Florence Smelley Cabaniss, and two brothers, William Smelley and John Norman Harris Jr. Mrs. Wyatt was a member of Ettrick United Methodist Church. She is survived by a sister, Mary Harris Trexler; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 3, 2009 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. Interment Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg, Virginia 23834. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
