Lorraine Daniel

Lorraine, “Nana” age 79 of South Chesterfield, VA, passed away on March 12, 2022. Born in Petersburg, VA, on  August 11, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Eloise G. Harp and Marvin G Harp. She was the widow of Donald J. Daniel affectionately known as “Donnie/Don-Don” She is survived by her brother Wayne P. Harp, her two sons Rusty Newton (Robin) of S. Chesterfield, and David Newton (Cathy) of S. Chesterfield, also three grandchildren, Brittni Newton, Dustin Newton, Chad Newton, and one granddaughter by love Silver Gray; Six great-grandchildren, Dillon, Kai, Hendrix, Laila, Madelyn, and Colette. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and very special friends.  Lorraine “Nana” was dearly loved. She enjoyed cooking, “playing” in her flowers as she liked to say, riding horses, and dancing with her Donnie. Lorraine “Nana” was someone easy to talk to and laugh with. She was deeply loved by many and will be dearly missed. The family will have a memorial for Lorraine at the family home on Friday March 18, 2022 at 5:30 for family and friends.  Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Colonial Heights Chapel of E.
