Louis Pearson

Louis Lee Pearson, 84 of Colonial Heights, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2019. Louis was born October 25, 1934 to the late Jesse and Mamie Brown Pearson. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Betty Jo Pearson. Louis is survived by his daughter Laura P. Blackmon (Marty), of Colonial Heights; son Phillip R. Pearson (Karen), of North Carolina; eight grandchildren, Christin Cimburke (Joey), James "Jake" Reid (Toni), Nathan Pearson (Jessica), Danielle Pearson, Lydia Pearson, Maggie Pearson, Jason Blackmon and Matt Blackmon; seven great-grandchildren, Haleigh Reid, Will Cimburke, Nolan Reid, Morgan Blackmon, Mason Pearson, Hayden Pearson and Khylee Bayless; brother Franklin D. Pearson, Sr. (Effie); and many loving nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. Louis was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was a part owner of I.P.K. Construction and he served in the United States Army. Family will receive friends from 6p.m. to 8p.m. Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Calvary Baptist Church, 17001 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Colonial Heights VA, 23834. Where a funeral service will be held 11a.m. Thursday, February 21, 2019. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
