Louise Boyd

Louise L. Boyd, 87, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at John Randolph Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Eugene E. and Lizzie Martin Livesay, and the widow of James Luther Boyd. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Edward Boyd. Mrs. Boyd is survived by several cousins; Velma Wilson and Donald Martin of Colonial Heights and sister in-law Drucilla Livesay and a nephew Marshall Livesay of Hopewell, dear friends, Ramona, Robert, and Stephen Cameron, Charles Kelley all of Colonial Heights. A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 18, 2009 at West Hopewell Presbyterian Church, 2602 Wise Street, Hopewell, Virginia 23860. Private interment, Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 17, 2009 (tonight) at the Colonial Heights chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Home & Crematory 2033 Boulevard. Flowers are welcome or contributions may be made to West Hopewell Presbyterian, Freedom in Christ Ministries.
