Louise Church

Louise Tillman Church, 90, of Colonial Heights, passed into the hands of the Lord Friday, January 27, 2012. She was the daughter of the late James Herman and Effie O'Conner Tillman. Mrs. Church was a devoted mother; friend, grandmother, and she loved to fish. She retired from Brown and Williamson Tobacco Company as an operator. Mrs. Church is survived by her son, Dale F. Church of Petersburg; daughters, Phyllis C. Morris of Richmond, Patricia C. Rainey and husband, Randy of Colonial Heights, Barbara C. Williams and husband, George, of Sutherland; one brother, Carl Tillman of Georgia; two sisters, Frances Presley, and Eva James both of Georgia; numerous grandchildren, and great- grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2012 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Home and Crematory 2033 Boulevard. Interment will be private. The family wishes to express the deepest thanks to the staff of Riverview on the Appomattox and John Randolph Medical Center for the loving care that their mother received.
