Louise Elder

Louise Covington Elder, 86, of Prince George, passed away on Friday, April 11, 2104 at Retreat Hospital in Richmond. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Virginia Cox Covington. She attended Oakland Baptist Church in Disputanta. Mrs. Elder was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Richard T. Elder Sr.; a daughter, Bonnie E. Daniel and husband, Donnie of Disputanta; a son, Richard T. Elder Jr. and wife, Eugenia of Prince George; a grandson, Richard T. Elder III and wife, Ashley; a great-grandson, Gabrien Lucas Elder of Prince George; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Prince George Animal Shelter, 8391 County Drive, Disputanta, Virginia 23842. Arrangements by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E.
