Louise Roop

Louise Jamerson Roop, 89, of Petersburg, passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at the Hopewell Health Care Center. She was the daughter of the late Royal and Sweety Brooks Jamerson and the widow of Archie C. Roop. Mrs. Roop retired from Brown and Williamson Tobacco Company. She is survived by her daughter, Deloris R. Caraveo and husband, Art of Bakersfield, California; son, William "Bill" Roop and wife, Beth of Colonial Heights; ten grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren. A graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 3, 2010 at Southlawn Memorial Park Prince George, Virginia with the Reverend Bob Lamb officiating.
