Lucille Mitchell

Lucille F. Mitchell was called to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 surrounded by her family. Born in Prince George County, she was the daughter of the late Aras W. and Marie Bradford Franklin, and the widow of Titus B. Mitchell, and was predeceased by a son, Robert E. Mitchell. Mrs. Mitchell was a member of New Jerusalem Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, June M. Cunningham and husband, Robert of S. Chesterfield and Marla Berry of Prince George; a son, Bruce Mitchell Sr. and wife, Norma of Mechanicsville; grandchildren, Timothy Beeler, Teresa Moore, Roger Mitchell Jr., Guy Mitchell, Bobby Mitchell, Christopher Winn and Joshua Berry; 15 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 31, 2013 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Robin Lester officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
