Lucille Moss, 85, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Monday, March 29, 2010 at Retreat Hospital. She was the daughter of the late George and Ruth Washburn. Mrs. Moss was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Hains Moss, a son, Stephen Lynn Moss, and a sister, Loudean Manley. Mrs. Moss was the former co-owner/operator of Moss TV in Colonial Heights. She is survived by two sons, Frank Hains Moss Jr. and wife, Janet of Hacienda Heights, California, and Ronald Ray Moss and wife, Laura of Chester; a daughter-in-law, Sandra Carter Moss of Hopewell; two grandchildren, Tammy Lynn Moss, and Andrew Cheng Moss; a brother, Charles Washburn of Indiana, and a sister, Katherine Lewis of Kentucky; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 3, 2010 at Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg with the Reverend Kenneth Webb officiating. The funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 2:30 p.m. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E.
