Lucille Robertson

Lucille Allen Temple Robertson, 95, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2009 at Colonial Heights Health Care Center. She was the daughter of the late Allen and Lucy Perkins Temple. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie C. Robertson, an infant daughter, Frances Lucille Robertson, and her sons, Robert Weldon Robertson and Johnnie C. Robertson Jr. Lucille was a former associate of Rucker-Rosenstock's Department Store. She was a member of Second Presbyterian Church, Petersburg. For the past ten years, Mrs. Robertson was a resident of the Colonial Heights Health Care Center where she was lovingly cared for by Mrs. Doris Jackson and Mrs. Katherine Kimbrough. She spent many hours in the activity area with Mary Lou Earhart, Elaine, Betty, Ann, Richard, Inga, the other residents, and volunteers. She is survived by Mrs. Robert W. Robertson (Mary Virginia). A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 21, 2008 in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg with the Reverend Dr. Daniel Hale officiating.
