Lucy Burns

Lucy Salmon Burns, 91, departed this life on October 27 following a long illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lafayette and Myrtle Salmon of Anthony, WV, her brother John Salmon of KY, her oldest son, Dennis Coldiron of Owingsville, KY, nephew Claude Mark Copher of Owingsville, KY, grandsons Timothy Bennett of Anchorage, AK, and Darrell Coldiron of Ky.

She is survived by 7 children: Wanda Snedegar (Larry), of Henderson, NV, Velvie Bennett of Chester,VA, Howard Coldiron (Peggy), of Chicago, IL, Mary Kay Burns of Pueblo, CO, Debbie Windsor (Mike) , Mark Burns (Lisa),  and Matt Burns (June) all of Lynchburg, VA. In addition to her children, she was blessed with 22 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Lucy is also survived by her sister, Jane Copher of Owingsville, KY, 7 nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews.

Interment will take place at a later date following a private ceremony.
