Lula Lundie

Lula Ann Lundie, 88, a resident of Chesterfield County, passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2010. She was the daughter of the late Lamenel and Janie Arvin Jordan, and was preceded in death by her husband, Charles J. Lundie; and a son, Charles Leroy Lundie. Mrs. Lundie was born on November 5, 1922. She was a member of Living Stone Baptist Church. Mrs. Lundie was the owner and operator of Charles J. Lundie Furniture Store for many years. She is survived by a son, Gerald G. Lundie of Prince George; grandchildren, Jamie Jo Lundie, Derek and Blake Lundie, Connie Lundie-Crowder, and Charles W. Lundie; five great-grandchildren. She was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday December, 17, 2010 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Carl Weaver officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
