Lynda Kay Moore, 70, of Colonial Heights, passed away on March 28, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Gertrude Goldner, and her brother, Alan Goldner. She is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years Charles; her son Steven; her daughter Stacie and son-in-law Peter Larson; her daughter Kathryn, son-in-law Richard Sklat, and grandchildren Rebecca and Richard, Jr.; her sister Sandra and brother-in-law Timothy Murphy; her sister Ruth and brother-in-law Donald Pyle; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Lynda was well-known in the community as a staunch advocate for special and exceptional student education. She was an avid golf fan, playing in tournaments throughout Virginia and serving many terms as the President of the Ft. Lee Ladies' Golf Association; she indulged her love of flowers with the Rosecrest Garden Club and enjoyed organizing the annual scholarship fundraising banquet. Memorial donations may be made to Children's Hospital of Richmond. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018, at 1:00 pm, at Wesley United Methodist Church, 3701 Conduit Road, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834.
