Macon Crawford

Macon L. Crawford Sr., 86, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Friday, February 15, 2013 at the Golden Living Center, Petersburg. He was the son of the late Lewis and Mozelle Thompson Crawford, and the widower of Geraldine M. Crawford. He was preceded in death by a son, Macon L. Crawford Jr. He is a veteran of the U.S. Navy and U.S. Army having served during WWII and the Korean Conflict. Mr. Crawford is survived by two daughters, Crystal Ann Crawford and Kimberly Dawn Crawford; a son, Jeffery Macon Crawford all of Colonial Heights; five grandchildren, Katelyn, Krystal, Allison, Brittany and Macon III; three great-grandchildren, Melanie, Emma and Michelle; along with numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 22, 2013 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
