Malcolm Blankenship

Malcolm D. Blankenship, 83, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2008 at his residence. He was the son of the late Marion and Mary Epperson Blankenship. Mr. Blankenship was a U.S. Army veteran, and a retired accountant. He is survived by his wife, Jean S. Blankenship; a daughter, Betsy Berna and her husband Monty of Simi Valley California; granddaughters, Tracy Berna of Los Angeles, California, Wendy Pierro and husband Brian of Simi Valley, California, and a sister, Catherine Harrison of Colonial Heights. A graveside service will be held, 11 a.m. on Tuesday June 10, 2008 at Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, Virginia, with the Rev. Graham Patterson of Crater Community Hospice officiating.
