Margaret Caton

Margaret Blackburn Caton, 88, of Chester, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Southside Regional Medical Center. Born in Herndon, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth Bulis Blackburn. She was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Caton; a grandson, Mark Griffin; four sisters; and three brothers. Mrs. Caton was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Colonial Heights. She is survived by her two daughters, Joyce C. Griffin and husband, Robert and Audrey M. Hester and husband, Dale A. all of Chesterfield; four grandchildren, Glen Griffin, Travis Griffin, Lisa Goad, and Scott Andrews; eight great-grandchildren, Erica Griffin, Danielle Griffin, Brooke Griffin, Hunter Powell, Jacob Jude Griffin, Jerrica Hawkins, Dakoda Goad and Lilly Andrews; numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 1, 2013 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. Interment will follow in Bermuda Memorial Park, Enon. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
