Margaret Creasy

Margaret Bickings Creasy, 93, of Prince George, died Sunday, September 20, 2009 at the Golden Living Center in Petersburg. She was the daughter of the late Charles Garmon and Sarah Birchett Bickings, and the widow of Daniel S. Creasy. Mrs. Creasy was preceded in death by a sister, Nelle Popoczy Daniel, and two brothers, James Mason Bickings, and Charles G. Bickings. Margaret was a member of Gary's United Methodist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher, and President of the United Methodist Women. She is survived by her brother, Howard M. Bickings of Chesterfield; and a sister, Sarah Cogle of Prince George; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 24, 2009 in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg with the Reverend Dr. Henry Butler officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 .m. Wednesday at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
