Margaret DeKay Davis, 94, of S. Chesterfield passed away surrounded by her beloved family on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at her home. Born March 28, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Benton DeKay and Katie Jordan Fulton, and was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas "T.L" Davis, Jr.; son, James "Jimmy" Davis; sisters, Mary Ackerman, Doris West; sons-in-law, Scrappy Crowder and Les Porter.
She was a longtime member of Ettrick Baptist Church until its closure, after which she became a cherished member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church.

Margaret's nurturing spirit touched 61 lives, and she was always ready to ensure that everyone was well-fed and cared for.
Margaret stood by her husband in both life and work, supporting him and contributing to the family business, TL Davis Auto Repair. Together, they enjoyed many simple pleasures, including their tradition of sharing peach brandy, a custom she lovingly maintained even after his passing.
In addition to her roles as a homemaker and business supporter, Margaret pursued a new passion later in life, becoming a hairstylist. For 15 years, she brought beauty and joy to many through her craft before retiring.
