Margaret Disharoon

Margaret "Peggy" Kabler Disharoon, 82, died peacefully at her home on July 21, 2012. She was born October 7, 1929 in Canton, Ohio, grew up in Clarksburg, West Virginia, and graduated from West Virginia Wesleyan College in 1952 before moving to Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Jesse and Ora Cross . Mrs. Disharoon was preceded in death by her first husband, Fred "Nick" Kabler and her second husband, James P. Disharoon Jr. She is survived by her sons, Philip Kabler of West Virginia, John Kabler and wife, Carrie of Chester; step- sons, Edward M. Disharoon and wife, Nancy of Virginia Beach, and James P. Disharoon and wife, Barbara of Colonial Heights; ten grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren. A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 26, 2012 in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7-8:30 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Home and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
