Margaret Morris Ford, 83, passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at her home. Born July 19, 1934, she was the daughter of the late William Henry Morris, Sr. and Hattie Everett Morris, and was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Edward Ford, Sr.; sisters, Beatrice Mayes, Lillian Moore, Mildred Jernigan; and brother, William Henry Morris, Jr. Margie was a lifetime member of Trinity United Methodist Church. For 35 years, she was a bus driver for Dinwiddie County Schools. She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Castle and husband, Jack, Cindy Clay and husband, Jerry; son, Robert Edward Ford, Jr.; grandchildren, Justin Clay and wife, Kristen, Hunter Clay and wife, Heather, Sarah Radcliff and husband, Bryan, Hayley Clay, Taylor Ford; great-grandchildren, Addyson Clay, Ashlynn Clay, Daniel Radcliff, Holden Clay; brother, Raymond C. Morris; sister-in-law, Jean Morris; numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 15, 2018 in the Trinity United Methodist Church Cemetery, 4814 Courthouse Road, Church Road, Virginia 23833. The family will receive friends Wednesday night, March 14, 2018 from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. at the Crater Road Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road, Petersburg, Virginia 23805. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cemetery Fund at Trinity United Methodist Church.
