Margaret Gunther

Margaret M. Gunther, 87, of Chesterfield, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2011 at Lucy Corr Village. Born in Louisville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Mathilda Fritz Tinius, and the widow of Frank William Gunther. Mrs. Gunther was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, Colonial Heights and was a retired seamstress. She is survived by two sons, Michael J. Gunther of Chesterfield, and William F. Gunther and wife, Pamela of Chesterfield; a grandson, Samuel B. Gunther of Chesterfield; two brothers, George Tinius of New Albany, Indiana, and Frank Tinius of Lincoln, Nebraska; a sister, Rose Marie Block of New Albany, Indiana; numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 25, 2011 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with Father Lou Ruoff, Celebrant. Interment will follow in Bermuda Memorial Park, Enon. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
