Margaret Mann

Mrs. Margaret Beatrice "Bea" Mann, 94, of Chesterfield, formerly of Colonial Heights, passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Chippenham Medical Center. Born in Crewe, she was the daughter of the late Emmett P. and Ruth Moses Bass, the widow of Edward Randolph Mann, and was preceded in death by a son, Edward Phillip Mann. Mrs. Mann was a member of Highland United Methodist Church, the Colonial Heights Garden Club and Women's Club, and a retired teacher from Flora Hill Elementary School, Colonial Heights. She is survived by a daughter, Ruth Ann Elliotte and husband, Kenneth David Elliotte of Chesterfield; a granddaughter, Margaret Courtney Hyer and husband, Kenneth Hyer of Goochland; two grandchildren, Ashley Jordan Hyer and William Randall Hyer; three nieces, Betsy Michalek and husband, Ed, Kirky Archer and husband, Johnny, Lynn Inge and husband, James; a nephew, Leslie Mann and wife, Pam; friends, Barbara and Wayne Burner. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 5, 2012 in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester with the Reverend Bill Rawlings officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
