Margaret Perkinson

June 26, 1920 — January 30, 2011

Margaret Traylor Perkinson, 90, of Colonial Heights, passed away January 30, 2011. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Lloyd and Essie Hardy Traylor and the widow of John A. Perkinson. Mrs. Perkinson was a member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church, Ettrick Friendship Club, Sunshine Club of Immanuel Baptist Church in Colonial Heights, Ettrick American Legion Post 136 Auxiliary and the former manager of Hawks Drug Store in Ettrick. She is survived by her daughter, Teresa P. Macocatic of Chesterfield; grandson, Brian C. Bersik of Prince George; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family wants to thank the Colonial Heights Health Care Center for all their love and care during the last nine years. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 2, 2011 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Scott K. Price officiating. Interment Blandford Cemetery Petersburg, Virginia. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 1, 2011 from 7-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
