Margaret Rappold

Margaret Dolan Rappold of Charlottesville, formerly of Newport News, departed this life June 12, 2013. She was born October 9, 1940 to the late Samuel Franklin and Margaret Lawman Dolan, and was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Rappold. Survivors include four children, Virginia, Tommy, Annette, and David; seven grandchildren; one, great-grandchild; and one sister, Sarah Smith. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, June 23, 2013 in the Petersburg Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children's Rehabilitation Center at M.C.V. Medical Center.
