Marguerite Emory

Marguerite Holzner Emory, 87, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Monday, July 16, 2012 at the Golden Living Center in Petersburg. She was the daughter of the late Leo and Hattie Loving Holzner, and the widow of Walter S. Emory. She was retired from Johnson's Cleaners with over 26 years of service. Mrs. Emory is survived by two sons, Bobby Emory of Colonial Heights, and Johnny Emory and wife, Linda of Prince George; grandchildren, Julia Hudson, Heather Glomb, Shannon Emory, and Robbie Emory; nine great grandchildren; a sister, Dorothy Bryant of Colonial Heights; a brother, Robert Holzner of Colonial Heights, and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 20, 2012 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. Interment will follow in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg. The family will receive friends one hour before the service on Friday at the funeral home.
