Marguerite Colgin Lunsford Marguerite Colgin Lunsford, 86, of Colonial Heights, VA, died on April 7, 2009. She was the daughter of Clara Hamilton and James Michael Colgin. She was a member of Highland Methodist Church and a graduate of Petersburg High School. Marguerite loved life's simple pleasures especially her husband of 54 years, and her children and grandchildren. Marguerite was preceded in death by her loving husband C. Henry Lunsford. She is survived by four daughters, Diane L. Graf of Palmyra, VA; Barbara Lunsford of Church Road, VA; Kathy L. Tucker of Dunnsville, VA; and Karen L. Laidler of Virginia Beach; two sons, Charles Henry Lunsford, Jr. of Kitty Hawk, NC, and James M. Lunsford of Colonial Heights; her sister, Gerry Colgin of Colonial Heights, and her brother, James Robert Colgin of Manlius, NY; ten grandchildren, Leslie Gryder, Julie Fulp, John Fulp, Tony Lunsford, all of Colonial Heights; Kelly and Charlie Tucker of Dunnsville, VA; Scott Levy of Cary, NC, and Charles Michael Levy of Thisted, Denmark; Andrew and Carleigh Laidler of Virginia Beach; and ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews, and her devoted friend Evendia Bailey of Stoney Creek, VA. Special thanks to the Hopewell Health Care Center for their fine and loving care. A funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday April 11, 2009 in the Colonial Heights chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Home, and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, with the Rev. Keith Ritchie and the Rev. Bill Rawlings officiating. Burial to follow at Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 10:- 11:00 a.m. one hour prior to the service.
