Marguerite Widdop

Marguerite Wright Widdop, 94, of Cambridge, Massachusetts, formerly of Colonial Heights, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2011. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mayme Hardy Widdop, and was preceded in death by a sister, Jane W. Bryant and brother-in-law, Franklin P. Bryant. Miss Widdop was a member of Highland United Methodist Church, and retired as secretary/administrative assistant to the Post Commanding General of Fort Lee. She is survived by a nephew, David Bryant and wife, Audrey; a great niece, Valerie Bryant all of Cambridge; cousins, Rudy Boisseau and wife, Robin and daughters, Emily and Ellie of Hayes, Virginia and Diana Leigh Boisseau of Colonial Heights. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 23, 2011 in Highland United Methodist Church, 125 E. Westover Avenue, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 with the Reverend Keith Ritchie officiating. Interment will follow in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
