Marian Gunn

Marian Gibbs Gunn, 90, of Colonial Heights passed away on Friday, December 27, 2019. Born May 29, 1929, she was the daughter of the late James Lemuel and Victoria Burnette Gibbs, and was also preceded in death by her siblings, Jimmy Gibbs, Joseph Gibbs, Cornelia Fields, and Denton Gibbs. Marian was a longtime member of Western Heights Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Beryl Gunn, Sr.; son, Thomas Beryl Gunn, Jr. and wife, Ginny; daughter, Susan Gunn Nauseef and husband, Mike; grandchildren, Amanda Gunn, Joanne Catlett and husband, John, Kelly Allin, Amanda Ceppi; great-grandchildren, Makayla Trader, Lori Henshaw and husband, Otis, Mackenzie Allin, Buddy Allin; great-great-grandchildren, Shyanne, Riverlyn and Jacob Henshaw; and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
