Marie Rudd

Marie Dorothy Rudd 88, of Colonial Heights passed away Wednesday March 18, 2015 at the Colonial Heights Health Care Center. She was born October 15, 1926 to the late George and Dabley Joseph Gibrall, and was preceded in death by her husband Wilmer W. Rudd. Ms. Rudd was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Colonial Heights. She is survived by a son Chris David of Colonial Heights; two daughters Jeanette Akers of Colonial Heights and Selene David of Seattle, Washington; grandchildren Shawn David, Jordan Ponder and husband Andrew, Tracy Akers, Mariah David, Robin Akers, and Kerry Akers all of Colonial Heights. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday March 21, 2015 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with Fr. Lou Ruoff officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends Friday March 20, 2015 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.
