Marie Scott

Marie J. Scott 63, of Dewitt died Friday February 27, 2009 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her father Joseph Daniel Jessup. Mrs. Scott was a retired secretary for Central State. She is survived by her husband James Scott, her daughter Stephanie Brunow and husband Dennis of Alabama, son Glen T. Wells Jr., of Church Road, her mother Josephine Jessup of Colonial Heights, four grandchildren Trey, Chris, Kameron, and Cheyenne. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday March 4, 2009 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard, with the Reverend Robert Rowland III., officiating. Burial will follow in Blandford Cemetery Petersburg, Virginia. The family will receive friends Tuesday March 3, 2009 from 7-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
