Marion Bottoms

Marion Catherine Bottoms, 79, of Dinwiddie, passed away Saturday March 26, 2011. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Carolyn Agnes Becker Grenman, and the widow of Roscoe Bottoms. Marion retired after many years of service from Fort Lee as a Computer Systems Analyst. She was a member of Smith Grove United Methodist Church. Marion was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and "official family vacation planner". Mrs. Bottoms is survived by her sons, Thomas R. Bottoms, and wife Carrie S. Hall of Ford, John E. Bottoms, and wife Rhonda of Ford, Robert E. Bottoms, and wife Jennifer of Virginia Beach; daughter Catherine G. Bluett, and husband Jay of Chesapeake; twelve grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; devoted care givers, Betty Henchey of Dinwiddie and Joan Jones of Prince George. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday March 31, 2011 in Southlawn Memorial Park Prince George, Virginia with the Reverend David Lewis officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday March 30, 2011 from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Home and Crematory 2033 Boulevard 23834.
