Marion S. "Mucky" King, 91, of Disputanta, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his wife, Magdaline Lipchak King; his parents, Marion S. and Elsie Andrews King, and five brothers. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Disputanta, and a U.S. Army veteran, having served in WWII. Mucky retired from Hercules, Hopewell with 40 years of service, was a member of the Disputanta Ruritan Club, and the Colonial Heights American Legion Post #284. He is survived by two daughters, Carol Dralle and husband, Scott and Susan Harrison and husband, Richard; two sons, Wayne King and Christopher King and wife, Jenny; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A Funeral service will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the Petersburg Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
