Marjorie Kirkland

Marjorie Thomas Kirkland, 78, of Disputanta, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at her residence. Born in Warren, Wyoming, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Thomas and Helen Thomas Gish. Mrs. Kirkland is survived by her husband of 59 years, James L. Kirkland Jr.; three daughters, Melinda Kirkland Nicholas and husband, Cecil M. Nicholas Jr., Susan Kirkland Soloe and husband, Karl Soloe, and Valerie Kirkland Kipper and husband, Mac Kipper; 4 grandchildren, Jamie M. Nicholas, Jennifer L. Myers and husband, Tripp, Erin Pomplun Woolley and husband, Brad, and Lydia Leigh Pomplun; great-granddaughter, Caitlin Leigh Woolley; a brother, Jerry L. Thomas and wife, Cathy; and dear family friend, Richard J. Pomplun and wife, Cathy. Services will be private.
