Marjorie Ann Todd, 77, of Colonial Heights passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Southside Regional Medical Center. Born on September 24, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Frank R. and Dorothy M. Weliver, and was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas H. Todd; and great-grandson, Zephaniah Lucas. Mrs. Todd retired after serving over 30 years as a Registered Nurse. Recently, she enjoyed attending Western Heights Baptist Church in Dinwiddie, and also loved spending her time with the Water Arthritis Aerobics group at the Chester YMCA, where she was known as the "Sudoku Lady" because of her passion for Sudoku puzzles. She is survived by her son, Thomas F. Todd and wife, Margery; daughters, Patricia L. Martinez and husband, Martin, Jennifer Browder; grandchildren, Tiffany and Jeffery Browder, Maria Lucas and husband, Matthew, and Cisco, Margarita, Susana and Carlos Martinez, Heather Poindexter and husband, Jamar, Kristena Mitchell and husband, Russ; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters, Wanda Renfroe and husband, Kenneth of Chicago, Illinois, Sandy Collins and husband, Ronald of Russell, Iowa; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Western Heights Baptist Church, 24416 Cox Rd, Petersburg, VA 23803, with the Reverend Jon Dundalow officiating. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Western Heights Baptist Church. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.
