Mark Edwards

Mark John Edwards, 60, of Chesterfield passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2022. Born March 18, 1961, he was the son of Ruth Irmgard Edwards and the late John Oliver Edwards.

Mark was a member of Matoaca High School class of 1979. A United States Navy veteran, he proudly served four years on the USS Yellowstone. As a Virginia and United States history buff, Mark took pride in being a member of the North-South Skirmish Association. He also enjoyed tracking his family genealogy.

Mark is survived by his mother, Ruth Irmgard Edwards; two sisters, Astrid Goodyear and husband, Greg, Rayn Marie Rock and husband, Doug; and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members.

Interment will be private. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.
