Mark Fraher

Mark Edward Fraher, 52, of Colonial Heights, VA passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2016. Born in Petersburg, VA he was the son of the late Linwood Irby Fraher, Jr.; and was also preceded in death by a brother, Linwood I. Fraher, III. and step-father: Lt Col. William H. Anckaitis U.S. Army Ret. He was employed by the City of Petersburg. He is survived by his mother, Carolyn W. "Tiny" Anckaitis; a sister, Elizabeth "Scottie" Fraher; one brother, Nelson Keith Fraher; grandmother, Nonnie M. Burnett; and two very special nephews, Stefan W-L Fraher and Linwood Keith Fraher. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 17, 2016 in Blandford Cemetery, with the Rev. L. Raymond McGarr, officiating. A procession will leave the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, at 10:30 a.m. His remains will rest at the funeral home on Friday, December 16, 2016.
