Mark Hinds

Mark Allen "Skip" Hinds of Petersburg passed away December 10, 2013 at his residence. Son of Robert William Hinds, Sr. and wife Judy and the late Ann Marie Elder Hinds, he was born June 26, 1959 in Petersburg, Virginia. Skip was employed by Landair, a contractor firm at Park 500 as a Tool Room Manager. He also enjoyed Mud Bogging with his son Ryan. He is survived by his wife Joyce Hogwood Hinds; sons Ryan Elder; step-son, R. Douglas Woodfin; daughter-in-law, Kelly Woodfin; brother, Robert W. "Bobby" Hinds Jr. and wife, Michelle and; sister, Susan Marie Foster; step-brother Michael Pride and wife Charlotte, and brothers-in-law, Ricky Martin and wife, Carol, Billy Hogwood and wife, Pam, Ronnie Hogwood and wife, Carol; granddaughters, Brooke, Logan, and Jordan Woodfin; great-grandson, George Milton Flippin Jr.; nieces, Amber Mascunana, SarahAnn Moody, Mandy Reoch, Chrystal Benson and Bree Martin; nephews, Mark Allen Foster, Rikki Martin and Al Green. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 16, 2013 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park Chester, Virginia. The family will receive friends from 2-3:30 p.m. Sunday, December 15, 2013 at the funeral home. May he rest in peace.
