Marsha Marchiano

Marsha Edwards Marchiano, 69, of Colonial Heights, peacefully passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday, June 29, 2021. Born in North Carolina on February 25, 1952, she was the daughter of the late William Cooper “Bill” Edwards, Jr., and Dorothea Langley “Dot” Edwards. Marsha was a longtime member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, a retired Civil Service employee with the Department of Defense, and a beloved member of Beta Sigma Phi. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Richard L. "Rick" Marchiano Sr. of Colonial Heights; four children, Richard "Lou" Marchiano Jr., Nathan W. Marchiano, Anthony J. Marchiano (Allison), and Amanda D. "Mandy" Marchiano; loving and special grandchild, Polly Aurora Marchiano. Marsha was a faithful woman who loved the Lord, her family, church, and friends. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, 3110 Greenwood Avenue, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 with the Reverend Dr. Andrew Brockelman officiating.  Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park Prince George, Virginia.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday, July 5, 2021, at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E.
