Martha Lewis

Martha Ann Lewis, 76, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2009 at Southside Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Curtis Mason and Nannie B. Wray Cole, and was preceded in death by her son, Donald Robert Lewis. She is survived by her husband, Emmett H. Lewis Sr.; a son, Emmett H. Lewis Jr. of Dinwiddie; a granddaughter, Jennifer Ann Rist and husband, Todd of Chesterfield; two great-grandchildren, Christan and Courtney Rist. A graveside service will be held 1:30 p.m. Thursday, December 31, 2009 at Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg with the Reverend David Prather officiating. Please assemble at the gravesite. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
