Martha Mattox

Martha Yarr Mattox, 58, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 4, 2014 at her home in Disputanta, Virginia. Born to the late Peter and Frances Yarr on February 17, 1956, Martha "Marcie" was a loving homemaker, attended Destination Church in Colonial Heights, and loved her water aerobics class at the YMCA in Chesterfield. Marcie and her husband, John Robert "Bob" Mattox lived on their farm and was a loving home to many, including dogs, cats, and hummingbirds. Marcie leaves behind her husband, Bob; her sister, Kathy (Steve) Friedberg of Winona Lake, Indiana; her brothers, Michael Yarr of Boston, Massachusetts and Tom Yarr of Charlotte, North Carolina; niece, Elaine Friedberg of Chicago; nephew, Ben (Brooke) Friedberg and their children, Grace, Avery and Nathaniel of Winona Lake, Indiana. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 11, 2014 at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 4000 Pilots Lane, Richmond, Virginia 23222 with the Reverend Larry Briggs officiating.
