Martha Throckmorton

Martha Atkins Throckmorton, 84, a longtime resident of Chester, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2012. She is survived by four children, Victoria, Sterling, Wayne, and Michael; one sister, Winifred; one brother, Butch; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A private graveside service will be held in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The City Life Church, P.O. Box 120644, Newport News, Virginia 23612. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Colonial Heights, Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
