Mary Cimburke

Mary Christine Cimburke, 74, of Chesterfield, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2011 at Lucy Corr Village. She was the daughter of the late Rufus Henry and Nettie Lucille Griffin Eggleston and was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph William Cimburke Sr., a son, Clarence Allen Cimburke, and brothers, Robert Eggleston, William Eggleston and Charles (Pete) Eggleston. Mrs. Cimburke was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Joseph W. Cimburke Jr. and fiancée, Brenda Horn and David W. Cimburke and wife, Susan; daughters, Donna S. Poole and husband, Raymond and Linda C. Jackson; step-daughters April Wrenn and Paige Belvin; nine grandchildren, Cindy G. Farias, Christy L. Poole, "Dinky" Poole, Joey W. Cimburke III., Jennifer C. Gallagher, Mary B. O'Brien, Stacy R. Cimburke, Christopher L. Cimburke, Joshua M. Jackson; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Joyce Johnson and husband, Paul, Ann Jones and husband, Tom; a brother, James Eggleston and wife, Margaret; and eight nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory with the Reverend Dr. Ray Haskett officiating. Interment will follow at Blandford Cemetery Petersburg, Virginia. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 21, 2011 from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Home and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, 23834.
