Mary F. Emory, 82, of Church Road, Virginia passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at Greenfield Reflections of Petersburg. She was the daughter of the late Joseph L. and Cleo Farrell Hogan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde H. Emory, Sr., her two brothers, Arthur "Red" Hogan and Charles "Lindy" Hogan. Mrs. Emory was a supervisor for Fort Lee Kenner Army Hospital. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Vickie Emory Stanfield (Ronnie) of South Chesterfield; two sons and daughter-in-laws, Clyde H. Emory, Jr. (Robyn) and Brian D. Emory (Brenda) all of Church Road; six grandchildren, Douglas Lee Crowson (Courtney), Courtney Crowson Heilman (Brandon), Rena Emory Leslie (Paul), Kevin Brian Emory, Sara Hope Emory and Kala Amber Emory; three great grandsons, Emory Leslie, Everett Crowson, Van Leslie and one great granddaughter on the way: Baby Girl Heilman; four sisters, Loma Maitland, Faye Cole, Eula Johnson, Helen Branzelle; and one brother, Frank Hogan; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 29, 2012 at Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, Virginia with Rev. Steven Emory and Chaplin Cindy Spicer officiating. The funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon, October 28, 2012 from 3:00-4:30 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
