Mary Eyler

Mary Frances Clark Eyler, 94, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2013 at the Colonial Heights Health Care Center, where she was a resident for the past two and half years. Mrs. Eyler was born September 24, 1919 and raised in Ettrick, VA. She was the daughter of the late Harvey and Susie West Clark and was preceded in death by a brother, Clairborne W. "Tickie" Clark of Petersburg. She was the widow of Marvin Gray Eyler. Mrs. Eyler was a Member of Woodlawn Baptist Church in Colonial Heights and a former School Crossing Guard for Colonial Heights Police Department at Westover Ave and Boulevard intersection. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother. Mrs. Eyler is survived by her daughter, Susan Eyler Brown and husband, Ray of North Chesterfield; and a sister, Adelaide Clark Bulifant of Colonial Heights, along with numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 4, 2013 in Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum, 2901 W. Hundred Road Chester, Virginia 23831 with the Reverend Michael Murray officiating. Arrangements by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Home and Crematory 2033 Boulevard.
