Mary Louise Fontaine, affectionally known as "Ma," of Colonial Heights passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2018. Born in Petersburg, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Emma Rawlings Bishop. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie Louise Fontaine; a brother, Robert Bishop Jr.; and sisters, Helen Bishop, Catherine Ellis and Elizabeth Bishop. She was a life time member of High Street Methodist Church, and a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. Mrs. Fontaine was a Retired Secretary with Honeywell, with 23 years of service. She is survived by a daughter, Cindy Cummins (Mark) of Colonial Heights; a son, Tim Fontaine (Dona) of Colonial Heights; grandchildren, Amy Daly (Ryan), Jonathan Cummins (Arielle), Joey Cummins (Danielle), Stephen Fontaine (Jennifer), and Andrew Fontaine (Autumn); great-grandchildren, Emma & Campbell Daly, Ellison & Beckett Cummins, Logan & Dylan Cummins, Gavin, Hadleigh & Chandler Fontaine; niece, Peggy White of Cartersville, Georgia; and two great-nieces. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 12, 2018 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with Pastor Ray McGarr and Pastor Donna Mott officiating. Burial will follow in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Crater Community Hospice, 3916 S.
