Mary Garnett

Mary Ruble Garnett, 94, of McKenney, formerly of Richmond, departed this life on Wednesday, February 2, 2011. She was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Richmond. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Willis C. Garnett Sr.; and two daughters, Ann L. Geier and Frances G. Wheeler. Mary is survived by a daughter, Mary W. McCabe and husband, Bobby; a son, Willis C. Garnett Jr. and wife, Anissa; devoted son-in-law, Ervin L. Wheeler; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren; and devoted caretaker, Gloria Campbell. A graveside service will be held at a later date in Roanoke, Va. in the Spring. In lieu of flowers please make contributions to Crater Community Hospice, 3916 S. Crater Rd. Petersburg, Va. 23805.
