Mary Gunter

Mary Elizabeth Ohland Gunter, 88, of Dinwiddie, died Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at Southside Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Ebbitt, and was the widow of her first husband, John Ohland and second husband, Benjamin Gunter, also predeceased by her grandson, John Lamm. Survivors include her devoted daughter, Margo Ellen Lamm and husband, Frank of Dinwiddie, daughter, Carole E. Gill and husband, John of Williamsburg; five grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren and the fifth due in April. A memorial service will be held 4:00 p.m. on Saturday February 28, 2009 at the Dinwiddie Church of the Nazarene. The Petersburg chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 3935 South Crater Road is serving the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Dinwiddie Church of the Nazarene, 24604 Old Vaughan Road, Dinwiddie, Virginia 23841.
