Mary Harmon

Mary Katherine Harmon, 78, of Disputanta passed away Friday, March 25, 2022. She was born in Hopewell on November 20, 1943 to the late Conrad Millard and Lily Ann Wills Hagen and was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Redgia Leo Harmon. Mrs. Harmon retired from Park 500 of Philip Morris after 20 years of service. In her free time, she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, quilting and traveling the United States.  She is survived by her sons, Thadious Millard Harmon and James Benjamin Harmon; grandchildren, Maria Katherine Harmon, Margaret Drummond Harmon, Benjamin Weston Harmon, Jacob Michael Harmon, and Elizabeth Wills Harmon; sister-in-law and lifelong best friend, Barbara Bevins; and siblings, Carson Davis Hagen (Carol), Kerry Ann Nappier, and Donald Lee Hagen (Carol). A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834. The family will receive guests at the funeral home from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2022. Interment will take place at Southlawn Memorial Park.
