Mary Hawkins

Mary Ella Curtis Hawkins, 77, of Dinwiddie County, passed away on Monday, August 17, 2015 at Southside Regional Medical Center. Born in Texas, she was the daughter of the late, William and Mary Smith Curtis; and was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Clinton Hawkins; two daughters, Anita Louise and Donna Lynn Hawkins; a son, James Robert Hawkins; one granddaughter, Megan Lynn Booth; and two brothers, Jim and Junior Curtis. Mrs. Hawkins is survived by three sons, David L. Hawkins of Chesterfield, Clinton Eugene Hawkins and Michael Wayne Hawkins, both of Dinwiddie; a daughter, Barbara Ann Hawkins of Dinwiddie; seven grandchildren, David Lee Hawkins II, Cara, Cheyenne and Cody Hawkins, Kaylee and Summer Strickland and Trey Whitman; one sister, Louise Main of Maryland; one brother, Marion Curtis; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August, 20, 2015 at the Hawkins Family Cemetery, 13012 Old Stage Rd., Dinwiddie, VA 23841. Arrangements by the E.
